Cedars
Mary Blatt on alternate Thursdays at 8.00pm.
The Cedars home group meet at Mary Blatt’s house approximately every other Thursday evening for Bible studies; prayer; monthly communion; prayer and sharing; and occasional socials . Everyone is very welcome to come along and join with us in learning more about what Christ has done for each one of us, and how we can support each other in our daily lives.
Fountains
Gill and Mark Wakefield, Tuesdays at 7:30pm.
The Fountains home group meet on a Tuesday at Gill and Mark Wakefield’s house between 7:30 and 10. The group aims to move forward and build our faith through study, prayer and fellowship. The content of the group tends to follow a pattern of Bible Study, Prayer and Communion and Social.
Coffee Break
Langstone Church, Tuesday Morning 10:30 – 12:00noon
Tea drinkers are also welcome! An opportunity for adults to enjoy each other’s company and develop friendships whilst having refreshments together and studying the Bible in a relaxed and informal way with everyone being encouraged to take part in reading, commenting and explaining.
Eagles Group
Derek and Millie’s house or Jacquie King’s house on Thurdays at 8:00pm
Eagles at 8pm on Thursday evenings to learn more about God, read the bible, and find strength from God and direction for our lives. We drink coffee and chat, and, as we share our lives together we thank God for what’s going well and pray for each other when things are tough.
Craft Club
Led by Sue Stark and Chrissy Brooks this informal Club meets approximately twice a month 1.30pm – 4.00pm Wednesdays. It’s not gender specific. Members can bring along their current craft project – knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, tapestry, crochet, drawing, felt-work – just anything. It’s an opportunity to enjoy time together and share skills.
City Prayer Group
Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:40 am, which take place at various venues
Churches in Portsmouth are gathering together to pray for the city, believing that we are in a season of God’s grace over the church to pray for the nation. We are seeking to gather in unity for the sake of the community!
